And yet they do exist

Mythical creature? Monster? Or real existing species? For a long time, stories about gigantic squids, which cause entire ships to lurch, were considered a sailor’s yarn. As well as a challenge for scientists to search for the giant squid. And indeed, specimens with tentacles up to ten meters long, football-sized eyes and mega-powerful chewing tools have already been recovered – dead or dying. Now, researchers are trying to observe the behavior of living specimens in the sea. Or raise them in the aquarium. As big as possible.
